Car top carriers and vacuums...

I'm back, I always seem to have a lot on my mind, but I don't always get around to posting. I think I'll try this again.

Today, here's what I'm thinking...

We hear about the weirdo animal activists, criticizing Mitt Romney for carrying his dog in a dog carrier strapped on the roof of his car. Apparently, they consider this to be cruel. It also happened in 1983. I personally wouldn't carry one of my pets (yes, PETS, not "animal companions" or something stupid like that) on the top of my car, but I don't think that having done this 24 years ago should disqualify someone from the presidency, nor even reflect negatively on them to any degree. After all, we're talking about a DOG. Dogs are ANIMALS, they're not equivalent to humans. They are often pets, and they should be treated humanely, and compassionately, but they are nonetheless, ANIMALS. Candidate Romney's dog, of course, survived it's ordeal. Contrast this to small humans, inconveniently lodged inside the wombs of poor, innocent, helpless women, spontaneously and through no apparent action of their own, which we should be allowed to dice up into small pieces and suck out with vacuum cleaners like so much tumorous matter.
